Everyone Is Welcome at My Table
Inclusion isn’t a policy in my business, it’s the way I welcome every guest. Whether you’re living with changed mobility, hearing or vision, cooking with an allergy, travelling with an assistance animal, or simply feeling nervous that you’re “not much of a cook,” I want you to arrive knowing exactly what to expect and leave feeling it was designed with you in mind.
This page tells you how. If anything you need isn’t covered, please just ask — every booking with me starts with a conversation.
Before You Arrive
Every booking begins with a personal conversation about dietary requirements, accessibility needs, cooking confidence and any special occasions, so I can tailor your day. Prefer to book by phone rather than online? Call me on 0451 874 813 — I’d love to chat. You’re always welcome to bring a support person, and my pre-arrival email includes parking, toilet and entry details so nothing is a surprise on the day.
Our Space
Classes take place in our rammed-earth home in Goolwa, with step-free entry, an open-plan kitchen and dining space that’s easy to navigate with mobility aids, level parking close to the door, and a bathroom fitted with a handrail. In 2025 I invited Purple Orange, recognised experts in accessibility and inclusion, to inspect both our physical space and our website — their feedback confirmed the space is highly navigable for people using mobility aids or living with low vision, and continues to shape my improvements.
During Your Class
Classes are small — just two to six guests — so no one is ever left behind. I teach verbally, step by step, alongside you, which works beautifully whether or not you rely on written instructions or visual demonstrations. There’s seating whenever you need to rest, you set your own pace, and participation is always an invitation rather than an expectation. Assistance animals are warmly welcomed — we’ve had some wonderful four-legged guests over the years.
Dietary Needs
Allergies, intolerances, vegetarian, [vegan and halal] — tell me before booking and I’ll adapt the menu wherever practical, so your plate is part of the class, never an afterthought. My website is also built for everyone: mobile-responsive, screen-reader compatible, with clear fonts, strong colour contrast and image descriptions throughout.

Just Ask
If there’s anything that would make your visit easier — anything at all — email anita@anitarobin.com.au or call 0451 874 813. The kitchen table has room for everyone, and I mean that.
