THE FLEURIEU

Why I love the Fleurieu Peninsula and You Will Too

The Fleurieu Peninsula stole my heart from the moment I arrived. As someone who grew up in Switzerland, I found the same appreciation here for breathtaking landscapes, exceptional local produce and a genuine sense of community.

I love calling Goolwa home, where the Murray River meets the Southern Ocean. It is a place of stunning natural beauty, passionate local producers and unforgettable food and wine experiences. Every cooking class I host is inspired by this remarkable region, using fresh local ingredients and sharing the stories of the people who grow them.

For me, the Fleurieu Peninsula is more than a destination—it's a way of life. It is my greatest joy to welcome guests, share its flavours, and help them discover why I fell in love with this beautiful corner of South Australia.

Anita Robin, honours the rich heritage of over 2,000 generations of Aboriginal culture, the world's oldest living culture. We deeply respect all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and their ongoing contributions to our society. We acknowledge that the land we inhabit, known as Australia, has always belonged to the Aboriginal people and will continue to do so. Our place of work is on the sacred lands of the Ngarrindjerri people, and we embrace its significance.
